It was wonderful news to hear that I had been selected for a scholarship for the 11th annual Encaustic Conference in Provincetown, MA!This prestigious annual interdisciplinary event brings a community of artists together with gallerists, curators, critics and collectors engaged with wax, printmaking, mixed media, professional practices and more. I was thrilled to stumble upon the work of Nancy Yule while visiting family in Cambridge, Ontario last month. My mother and I took a tour of the newly revitalized downtown and came across Gallery M where she was exhibiting.
